Princess Amelia, who is our wonderful mama to the pups, will be available for adoption by May 25th, that is when she can be spayed. Amelia currently has milk, and will need to recover from nursing before she can be spayed. Amelia is an 18 month old Golden Retriever mix, who has already had 2 litters of puppies. She is very loving, playful, she needs a slow introduction to dogs, as coming from the hoarding situation, she can be frightened around them. She does well with cats and children. She is housebroken as well. Amelia, was heartworm negative, but is Ehrlichia Positive, like Prince's Jock and Oliver. Ehrlichia, is a tick borne disease is preventable with flea and tick prevention, and can be fatal if not treated. Amelia, like Jock and Oliver has been started on medication, and will make a full recovery. She is current on her shots, has been wormed, and started on flea and heartworm prevention. She will also be micro-chipped before her adoption is final. Amelia's adoption donation is $250.00 All of our Royal's are spayed or neutered, brought current on all shots, including rabies and bordetella, heartworm tested, wormed, microchipped and receive a dental if needed. An application must be completed, submitted and approved prior to meeting any of our Royal Prince and Princesses. A completed application does not guarantee adoption approval If interested in adopting into your family, please download an adoption application at our web site http://www.royaltydogrescue.com Office hours for phone calls with questions about our adoptable Royalty are: Mon, Fri: 1 pm- 7pm Tues, Wed, Thurs: 10 am - 7pm Sat: 9 am - 12 pm Closed for calls on Sunday.
