I get along with other dogs but I'm shy with people right now because I am still a bit unsure of myself. Rescue Me ID: 16-04-13-00644Callie (female)

Shetland Sheepdog Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Callie, Young Female, 39 pounds, Richmond VA Callie is being fostered in the Richmond, VA area. Go to www.momsrescueva to complete an application. Hi there, I'm Callie. I'm 1.5 years old and they tell me that I am a 'sheltie mix.' I am looking forward to finding a loving home and family. Right now I am a bit shy and insecure but I truly want to give and receive lots of love. I've been doing great with crate- and house-training. I also get along well with other dogs and they help me feel more confident. If I see that another dog feels safe and can relax, then I can relax a bit too. The best person or family for me will have the ... (Read More)patience to wait for me to feel safe before expecting me to be my silly, loveable self. I won't be unsure forever, but I am probably more hesitant than other dogs who have had more worldly experiences than I have. A calm and somewhat structured house will make things predictable for me (routine will build my confidence) and having another well-adjusted dog around might help me also. If you would like to help me blossom into the playful, confident girl I know I can be,go to www.momsrescueva.org to complete an application and see if we might be a match. (Less)
