Hello - my chosen name is NANNOK I was found stray in the San Bernardino valley in CA- as my owner had just abandoned me in the mountains. as I am no more a spring-in-the-field I was a very difficult life that I was facing- and then - to make it worse- I ended up in the high kill shelter DEVORE. Through the rescue network news about my fate went around and that is how AnimalDefense Rescue.org heard about me and stepped in before they euthanized me- because of my age. I was a so called at risk with a low chance of being adopted. BUT I am SAFE now and out of this shelter and at a nice boarding place in Palmdale CA where is spend my days ... (Read More)playing with other dogs, and socialize with other boarded dogs. I have it good here and the staff loves me because I am so mellow and smart. AND I still have lots of spunk. I was seen by a vet, bloodwork was done and my thyroid levels are very low. but that is not a big problem. so I get twice a day my thyroid meds- just like you Humans. I do want to come to WA because I have heard that you are good people in the Pacific NW. I am neutered and microchipped as well. if you are interested in me - I will make you very happy. send a mail to ADR@animaldefenserescue.org so that the Founder can send you an application. then there will be a phone call after you have filled it out and sent back to her - as she wants to get to know you better. WOOFLY yours, NANOOK (Less)
